Loneliness is an unpleasant emotional situation to isolation. It can also happen when we are surrounded by many people . It can be painful , feeling lost or having no sense of direction , a feeling of nothingness , having no emotions.
Sometimes when I am alone at home I feel lonely. I am so used being surrounded by my family and friends that it becomes empty . And this feeling of loneliness can be killing .
It is very cool to say that it is so good to be alone but for many people it might be very depressing . It can lead us to having mindless distractions , or at times destructive behaviour just to comfort ourselves from the fear of being alone. No one wants to be alone in this world. Everyone needs someone or the other for support. It is not possible for a normal human being to stay alone and be happy.
But turning our back towards these bad feelings will lead us nowhere. Instead we have to face it , feel it and from there growth will start. This is the time when we are able to know more about our ownselves and learn to cope up with the pain.
The ‘wonder’ in us can only be seen when we are alone. Which means being alone can lead to some positive things if we are strong enough to fight it. Our lives are full of ‘busy-ness’ that we hardly get time to look into matters.
We should learn to appreciate our ownselves , the way we are , and that happiness can be found in anything. And then its completely fine to be alone.
